Travel/Overseas Mediclaim (OMP) Insurance:

Travel/Overseas Mediclaim Insurance provides coverage for medical and sickness expenses incurred when the insured person is traveling or residing outside of Bangladesh. The insurance policy pays benefits directly to the insured individual who suffers the loss, or upon the insured's request, directly to the hospital or service provider. Coverage is provided on a monthly basis, and the premium is determined based on factors such as age and the chosen plan.

Mercantile Islami Insurance PLC offers three types of Overseas Mediclaim Insurance Policies:

1. Business and Holidays: This policy is designed for individuals traveling abroad for business or leisure purposes.
2. Employment/Studies: This policy caters to individuals traveling abroad for employment or educational purposes.
3. Corporate Frequent Travel Insurance: This policy is specifically tailored for corporate travelers who frequently travel overseas.

These policies provide comprehensive coverage for medical expenses and offer peace of mind while traveling or staying outside of Bangladesh.

This policy is categorized into two plans:

Plan 'A': This plan is designed for Bangladeshi citizens and other individuals working in Bangladesh who are visiting countries other than the USA and Canada.

Plan 'B': This plan is intended for Bangladeshi citizens and other individuals working in Bangladesh who are visiting the USA and Canada. Please note that a Value Added Tax (VAT) of 15% will be added to the above rates for this plan.
